Training Centre Direct (TCD) has maintained and exceeded our approval to deliver National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ's) since we started in business in 2006. External quality assurance visits are undertaken every 6 to 12 months to ensure that we are complying with the rules and procedures set down by the awarding organisation, through OfQual. Registration is carried out from day one and once we have the learners work verified and signed off, we can claim for NVQ certs and/or certificate of unit credits online with 24 hours.
With EAL, their collaboration is the cornerstone of everything they do. There long-term partnerships with employers, professional bodies and their parent organisation Semta help them to offer qualifications and skills solutions that are fine-tuned for the needs of our sectors. For TCD learners this delivers added value and underpins their careers in the lift engineering industry including platform lifts and stair lifts.
Through their External Quality Assurance Service they work hand in hand with their recognised Centres to support the highest standards in training and qualifications delivery. For employers, this approach delivers a value-added service and assurance that their learners achieve the standards required by their industry. TCD can also rely on their dedicated EAL External Quality Assurer (EQA) as a trusted partner for expert support and guidance. In the last ten years, 1.3 million people in the UK embarked on an EAL qualification in schools, academies, university technical colleges (UTCs), colleges, universities and private training companies, such as Training Centre Direct.
This also extends to several workplaces across the UK. A good example here is our trusted lift industry partner Apex Lift & Escalator Engineers Ltd.
