CSCS Card, Which One...?

DON'T GET SENT 'OFF SITE'
We support the lift industry in achieving NVQ accreditation for lift engineers and we're also a satellite centre with the lift and escalator industry association (LEIA). In this difficult and competitive market, win work over your competitors with NVQ accreditation in Lift Service, Repair or Installation and we'll help you apply for the right CSCS card.
If you work on lifts, the minimum you should have is a red trainee card (which lasts for 5 years) and you must be registered on the appropriate National Vocational Qualification. Once you have achieved your NVQ, you can then upgrade your CSCS card and either apply for a blue skilled worker card (NVQ Level 2), or a gold advanced craft/supervisory card (NVQ Level 3).
Prior to applying for any CSCS card, lift mates/improvers must have passed the appropriate CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test, after which you can then apply for the appropriate CSCS card.
Green Card Warning
Some lift mates still have the GREEN CSCS card which is not sufficient to work on some sites operated by the construction skills certificate scheme contractors.
