Who are you?
I'm Rob Hughes, Director of Training Centre Direct, with 27 years’ experience in the lift industry.

What's the problem your ideal client is facing?
Some initial problems for lift people are how to comply with the complicated rules of which CSCS card you require, what basic lift safety training courses you should do and which accredited NVQ competence qualification needs to be completed? Other areas include when is the right time to get a better paid job and who with, where do you plan to be in five years’ time and how are you going to get there?

Other common problems are who should sit and take the lift engineer safe register exam for online public view, what penalties can be imposed by the courts, (or sanctions by a lift firm), and ultimately, why should you care or be bothered with any of this?

What's your solution?
Our first solution is a phone consultation to establish your specific problems and what needs fixing first more urgently. Following this most people need to be registered first through the Lift Engineer Safe Register for you to be able to demonstrate your competence level to your lift employer and the lift building owner on safety aspects involving lifts. Finally we look at CSCS cards, accredited/non accredited qualifications, lift engineer refresher training, upskilling and individual recruitment needs to help put you in front of lift firm owners in the UK.

We do all of this through access to our network by you partnering with us. In a nut shell, we hold your hand all the way and advise you to help keep you ahead of the competition so that we keep any potential problems to an absolute minimum.
